The term “Home Automation Services” tends to carry with a stigma for being over the top and outrageously priced. It also tends to be a little vague. We prefer the term “Integrated Home.” Simply put, it means that all of the systems in your home should not only work well, but should work well together. Many people have home automation control system devices like programmable thermostats, lighting timers, universal remote controls, and surveillance systems. These individual systems alone are useful, convenient, and time saving. But are they living up to their full potential? Are they as simple and intuitive to use as possible? Do they actually complement each other?

What if all of these individual devices talked with each other? What if you could control nearly every aspect of your home from one interface? It could be a handheld remote control, a laptop computer, or an iPhone or iPad. And you wouldn’t even need to be home to do it. What if you wanted to view your camera system from your office? What if you needed to disarm the security system to let your child into the house after school? If there was a fire in your home, would your alarm system tell the thermostat to shut off to prevent the spread of smoke? Would it tell your porch lights to flash to help emergency responders find your home?

That is integration. And yes, we can do that. Without breaking the bank.
